Editor: Without having all of the pertinent facts, I will refrain from passing judgment on the wisdom of allowing U.S. port logistical operations by a foreign state-owned company, however there are surrounding issues worthy of consideration.
Sans Bush – again! Once again the administration has acted without the knowledge of its leader – or has it?
Secret Meetings – Once again the administration is doing the public’s business in private.
Finally, FCC regulations prohibit any foreign entity – public or private – from controlling ownership of any U.S. media outlet: TV, radio or newspaper. Apparently foreign handling of cargo is ok, but propaganda – no way!
