Honorable(?) Senator Pete Domenici:

Yo, Pete!

This morning, I read an article by the AP entitled 'Top GOP Senator suggests Social Security surplus use', in which you are quoted:

"There is no reason in the world you should look at it for only one purpose, to pay the debt down. What's wrong with using it for education..."

I can tell you, sir, that you are DEAD WRONG. I can give you several reasons, the first being that part of that money is mine, and you are not entitled to use my future funds for which I have been taxed under the guise of it being used solely for Social Security.

I would recommend that you poll your own constituency to see whether they agree with you before you make such sweeping remarks. Then, look outside your own constituency to that of the majority of Americans, as we all have paid into this fund. As a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, you represent and affect more than just your own constituency.

Another would be your party's promise to Americans that such funds would not be raided.

I DARE you to respond to me personally! Please feel free to use my toll-free number, as I would rather you did that, than use my Social Security funds to pay for the call! Do you have the [cahones] to do so, or are you just another conniving politician that is prepared to steal my money for your own special interests?
