Outraged

Editor: I am absolutely outraged after reading the front page article of Wednesday’s Tracy Press on the County Board of Supervisors’ vote to back the bio-lab. Each one of the four members that voted in favor of this support will have almost no conceivable chance of talking me into giving them my vote ever again. Too bad, Mr. Ornellas – if you didn’t support the language, you should not have voted in favor of it.

Despite the overwhelming public controversy, a unanimous recommendation came from the county’s Agricultural Advisory Board, whose chairman Joe Petersen had spoken to advocates of only one side of the issue – the lab itself. No bias there.

As far as Victor Mow’s urging that no city within the county oppose the new facility’s location, my home of Tracy is the city within the county facing the highest risk, so to put it the best way I can, my soon-to-be glow-in-the-dark and pox-ridden butt will be there for the kissing.
